Ain’t Nothing Wrong With That (SHARK WEEK!)
Ahhh, my favorite week of the year! It brings me such joy, it’s ridiculous. It really makes me consider a career in working with these animals. Just not tigers or bulls, and maybe not great whites either. Ha. Who knows. Since it’s not really a likely scenario, it’s something I can dream about.
I was going to take a scuba diving course at the college this semester, but my mother (the money provider) really screwed my schedule over this time. I have to have 12 hours worth of credits to stay on her insurance, as it’s the time of year they annually renew it. However, I had been planning on taking an easy semester and just focusing mainly on my language class while picking up the required art class at the same time.
Screw that. Now I’m taking Yoga and Japanese on Mon and Wed, and Chinese and Physc. on Tues and Thurs. I’m going to be so damn overloaded, it’s crazy. I have to fit everything around that Japanese class, and it’s really not as easy as it should be…
In knitting news: I’ve finished MawMaw’s scarf (teal) and started on her matching hat. After that it will be PawPaw’s, which is a light, kind of greyish blue that goes somewhat well with MawMaw’s but isn’t matchy-matchy. Then will come his hat, and then… well, I don’t know. I still have to do Aunt Kim’s, Channing’s, Joey’s, and probably Jessica’s. And put the finishing touches on Rio’s and ship her presents off.
Plenty to do and I’m running out of time very quickly.
